This class is taught by Marla Basli, a retired Volusia Art Educator of 35 years. Ms. Marla Co-wrote the very first Art Curriculum for the state of Florida as well as co-developed the original Very Special Arts curriculum, now Arts for All.
This Tuesday after school art classes covers drawing, painting, and 3D building. Ms. Marla incorporates art history, science, and world history into her lessons to provide and fun-filled and interesting session.
Her focus on fine and gross motor skills, light & dark values, depth, texture, and perception give each of her students the advantage of increased creative intuition while encouraging each child to harness their individuality and nurture their imagination.

Tuesday Class Registration Form
This class is taught by ArtHaus Executive Director Cameron Vintson, who studied painting at the University of Alabama.
This Wednesday after school art class covers brush etiquette, texture, color, tone, lines, shapes, and space.
Her focus on various traditional techniques allows each student to find their own specialty with medium, style, and execution. Students will learn different techniques used by cultures around the world. Each lesson touches on geography, art history, and social studies.

Wednesday Class Registration Form
This class is traditionally taught by Monique Fischer, a retired Volusia Art Educator of over 20 years. Ms. Monique will be on sabbatical until October 22 this Fall. Until her return, Ms. Cameron Vintson will substitute for this class. Ms. Cameron has extensive illustration experience and has previously taught the ArtHaus Cartoon Camp and the ArtHaus Anime & Manga Camp.
This Thursday after school art class covers light & dark values, texture, shading, lines, shapes, and movement. Each class will explore different drawing styles and techniques, allowing each student to hone their creative drawing skills.
